Community & Safety Guidelines
The Courtship Network is intended to be a civil community where all members are respectful and polite. Our guidelines are as follows…
1. Negative Behaviour
We prioritize creating a respectful and safe environment for all users. It is important to be considerate of others and refrain from engaging in targeted abuse, harassment, name-calling, spamming, or any form of rude or abusive behavior. Unsolicited sexual content is strictly prohibited. Reports of stalking, threats, bullying, or intimidation are treated seriously and will be addressed accordingly.
2. Explicit Content
We maintain a high standard of content appropriateness. It is imperative to refrain from sharing or discussing any extreme material, including depictions, references, or descriptions of explicit or implicit sexual content, violence, gore, abuse or similar shocking content. We encourage all members to keep their interactions clean, classy, and suitable for the wider community.
3. False Identity
We strictly prohibit any form of impersonation, wrongful slander, doxxing, or defamation targeting members within our community. Engaging in such activities will result in immediate removal from the platform.
4. Personal Information
It is essential to respect the privacy and confidentiality of all community members. We strongly advise against publicly broadcasting any private information, whether it pertains to yourself or others. This includes sensitive details such as social security numbers, passports, passwords, financial information, as well as unlisted contact information like phone numbers, email addresses, and home/work addresses. Safeguarding personal information is paramount in maintaining a secure and trustworthy community atmosphere.
In addition, any individual found attempting to obtain private information from other users with the intent of engaging in fraudulent or illegal activities may face a ban from the community. This policy extends to members who willingly disclose their own financial account information for the purpose of receiving money from other members.
5. Copyright and Solicitation
It is prohibited to share or distribute any content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others without proper authorization.
Furthermore, soliciting other users is not allowed on our platform. While it is acceptable to invite your matches to activities you are involved in, using your profile for the purpose of advertising events, businesses, non-profits, political campaigns, contests, or conducting research is strictly prohibited.
6. Age Requirements
To join The Courtship Network, participants must be 18 years of age. As such, we do not allow images of unaccompanied minors. If you must post photos of your children, please make sure that you are in the photo as well. It is encouraged that you protect their identity by blurring faces. If you see a profile that includes an unaccompanied minor, encourages harm to a minor or depicts a minor in a sexual or suggestive way, please report it immediately.
7. Relationship Status
It is important to note that The Courtship Network is not intended for individuals who are currently involved in a committed relationship or marriage. To be a member, you must be single or legally divorced. Polygamous relationships do not align with our values and any such suggestion is encouraged to be reported.
8. Other
Any further issues and concerns with anything happening within the community should be brought to our attention immediately. We encourage the use the report function for any content that you see that are breaking these guidelines so that we can resolve the matter immediately.
